Overview
The NetApp FAS2720 is an entry unified storage system: two high-availability controllers and 12 internal drive slots in one 2U chassis. It runs ONTAP and serves both SAN and NAS workloads.
Each controller has a 64-bit 12-core 1.5GHz processor. The HA pair has 64GB of memory and 8GB of NVRAM. Onboard connectivity per HA pair is 8 x UTA2 ports (10GbE or 16Gb FC) or 8 x 10GBASE-T, plus 4 x 10GbE SFP+ and 4 x 12Gb mini-SAS HD ports for external shelves.
