Overview

Thirty-two QSFP28 ports at 100GbE fill the front of the Juniper QFX5200-32C-AFI. Ports default to 100GbE and can also run at 50, 40, 25 or 10GbE, which gives flexibility when connecting a mix of servers and switches. Switching capacity is 6400 Gbps in 1U.

The AFI version moves air back-to-front. Its power and cooling parts are matched to that direction: 2 x JPSU-850W-AC-AFI supplies (850 W AC) and 5 x QFX5200-32C-FANAFI fan modules, all redundant. When ordering spares, keep to these AFI part numbers so the airflow stays consistent.

A 1.8 GHz quad-core Intel processor, 16 GB of memory and 2 x 32 GB SSDs handle the control plane. QFX5200-32C-CHAS is the spare chassis part number.
