The QFX5110-48S-AFO2 connects racks of 10G servers to a 40G or 100G fabric. It has 48 SFP+ ports at 1/10GbE and 4 QSFP28 uplinks that run at 40 or 100GbE, or break out into 4 x 10GbE each. That adds up to 52 ports.
Switching capacity is 1760 Gbps. Inside are a 1.8 GHz quad-core Intel processor, 16 GB of memory and a 64 GB SSD.
The switch is 1 rack unit and takes AC input. The AFO in the part number refers to the airflow option, so confirm it matches the hot and cold aisle layout of your racks.
