The Dell PowerVault ME5024 is a 2U array with 24 x 2.5in bays. Hosts connect over 32Gb FC, 25Gb or 10Gb iSCSI, or 12Gb SAS, depending on the configuration you choose.
Controllers are single or dual. With ME412, ME424 or ME484 expansion enclosures attached, the system reaches 276 drives.
Small-form-factor bays favor SSDs and fast SAS drives, which fits virtual machine datastores, databases and other workloads that need many drives in a short chassis. The fast Fibre Channel and Ethernet options give you headroom on modern fabrics.
The ME5024 is available new, refurbished and used. New and refurbished units come with a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty, and used units come with 90 days. Send us your hosts and drive plan, and we will reply with pricing.
