Overview
Juniper's QFX line uses QSFP+ ports for 40GbE, and the QFX-QSFP-DAC-1M is the short cable for them. It is a passive direct attach copper cable, 1 m long, with QSFP+ connectors at each end.
Use it to link two 40G ports that are right beside each other, such as a pair of switches in the same rack. Passive copper is simple: no power, no optics, and no separate parts to match.
