Overview
The switch fabric moves traffic between line cards in a Juniper MX2010 or MX2020, and the MX2000-SFB3-S is the third-generation fabric board for those chassis. It supports up to 4 Tbps full-duplex per line card slot.
Each board provides 3 fabric planes per PFE, for 24 planes when 8 boards are installed. Note the upgrade rule: every fabric board in the chassis must be an MX2000-SFB3, so boards of different generations cannot be mixed. The software minimum is Junos OS 19.3R2.
Each board draws 540 W and weighs 10.3 kg.
Operators order this spare to replace a failed fabric board, or in sets when moving a chassis to SFB3 fabric. We offer it New, Refurbished or Used. New and Refurbished boards include 1 year or 3 years of warranty, and Used boards include 90 days. Tell us how many boards you need.
