Overview
Fixed ports define the Juniper MPC5E-100G10G: 2 x 100GbE and 4 x 10GbE are built into the card, with no MIC slots to fill. Throughput is 240 Gbps. With the optional HQoS license, the card supports up to 32,000 queues per slot.
Platform support covers the MX240, MX480, MX960, MX2008, MX2010 and MX2020. On the MX240, MX480 and MX960 the card needs an SCBE or SCBE2; the legacy SCB is not supported. On the MX2010 and MX2020 it needs the SFB. Junos OS 13.3R3 or later is required, and the CLI shows the card as MPC5E 3D 2CGE+4XGE.
The card weighs 9.52 kg and supports an MTU of up to 9500 bytes.
