Overview
Ultra short reach is the idea behind the Juniper EX-SFP-10GE-USR: low-cost 10G over multimode fiber for very short links. The module is an SFP+ at 850 nm, and the reach depends on the fiber.
The figures are 10 m on OM1, 20 m on OM2 and 100 m on OM3. That makes it a poor fit for older fiber but a reasonable one for short runs on OM3, such as between neighboring racks. Check your fiber type first.
Three conditions are offered: new, refurbished and used. New and refurbished modules have a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty. Used modules have 90 days. Add it to your RFQ with the quantity and the switch model, and we will reply with pricing.
