IBM 00GH766 is a complete LTO-7 Ultrium drive assembly for the TS4300 library. It is a half-height library drive sled that connects to hosts or the SAN over 8Gb Fibre Channel.

Each LTO-7 cartridge holds 6TB native, or 15TB compressed, and the drive writes at a native data rate of 300MB/s. Those figures suit nightly backups and long-term archives on a mid-size TS4300 install.

The assembly fits the IBM TS4300 Tape Library (3555). It is a CRU, so it can be swapped into the library by on-site staff rather than a field engineer.
