For edge and aggregation roles that need MX features in a compact box, the Juniper MX80-AC provides 80 Gbps of throughput in a 2U chassis. Four 10GbE XFP ports are built in, and 2 MIC slots take interface modules for additional ports.

The router runs on AC power at 100-240 VAC. It can be mounted from the front or at the center of the rack, measures 44.5 x 8.9 x 59.6 cm (W x H x D) and weighs 13.7 kg. The operating temperature range is 0 to 46 C, so it belongs in an equipment room or data center rather than an outdoor cabinet.

Because the built-in ports are XFP, plan your optics accordingly. We can supply XFP transceivers along with the router if you list them in your request.
