Overview

This Juniper MX301 bundle ships with power supplies and fan trays, ready for a 1U slot. The port mix is 4 x QSFP56-DD, 6 x QSFP28 and 16 x SFP56, all channelizable, for 1600 Gbps of throughput.

A 10-core Intel Icelake-D processor at 3.0 GHz runs the control plane with 128 GB of memory and 400 GB of NVMe SSD storage (200 + 200). Power comes from 2 x JPSU-850W-AC-AFO supplies in a 1+1 redundant, hot-swappable setup; DC and HV models are also available. Six JNP-FAN3-1RU fans run 5+1 redundant and hot-swappable, with front-to-back airflow. Maximum power draw is 540 W.

Timing ports cover 10 MHz, PPS and ToD. The chassis model is MX301-CHAS-BB, it weighs 11.58 kg and measures 4.45 x 44 x 45 cm. Junos OS 25.4R1 or later is required.
