Overview

The Juniper EX4400 24-Port 10G SFP+ Switch with Optional Uplink Module, part number EX4400-24X, is a fiber-based access or aggregation switch. Its 24 downlinks are SFP+ cages, so you choose the optics or cables for each link.

The ports run at 1G or 10G. An optional uplink module adds more connectivity, and two dedicated 100GbE Virtual Chassis ports join several switches into one managed unit. The listed maximum port speed is 100GbE. There is no PoE, and the default power supply is 550W AC.

The switch works at Layer 3 and takes 1 RU. Because the downlinks are SFP+, optics are not part of the switch and need to be ordered separately.
