Overview

The Juniper EX4400 24-Port Multigigabit PoE++ Switch with Optional Uplink Module, part number EX4400-24MP, is a powered access switch for demanding endpoints, such as high-end wireless access points and devices that draw more than standard PoE.

All 24 downlink ports run at 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G or 10G and supply PoE++ at up to 90 W per port. The PoE budget is 1776 W for the unit, and the default power supply is 1050W AC. An optional uplink module provides the uplinks, and two dedicated 100GbE Virtual Chassis ports link switches together. The listed maximum port speed is 100GbE.

The switch works at Layer 3 and takes 1 RU. Check the combined draw of your devices against 1776 W before you assume every port can run at 90 W.
