Overview

The Juniper EX4100 48-Port Gigabit Switch, Back-to-Front Airflow, 4 x 10G SFP+ Uplinks, part number EX4100-48T-AFI, is for racks where cooling air enters at the rear of the equipment.

It has 48 downlink ports at 10/100/1000BASE-T and four SFP+ uplinks at 1G or 10G with MACsec, giving 52 ports in total. The maximum port speed is 10GbE and there is no PoE. The power supply is listed as 150W AC AFI, which is the airflow-matched unit. Virtual Chassis supports up to 10 members.

Getting airflow wrong is an easy way to overheat a switch, so check your rack direction before you order. The switch works at Layer 3 and takes 1 RU.
