Overview

The Juniper EX4100 48-Port Gigabit Switch with 4 x 10G SFP+ Uplinks, part number EX4100-48T, is a full-density access switch for closets where the connected devices are powered separately.

There are 48 downlink ports at 10/100/1000BASE-T and four SFP+ uplinks at 1G or 10G with MACsec, for 52 ports in total. The maximum port speed is 10GbE. PoE is not provided, and the power supply is 150W AC AFO. Virtual Chassis allows up to 10 members to be managed together.

The switch works at Layer 3 and takes 1 RU. The uplinks need SFP+ optics or direct-attach cables, which are separate parts.
