Overview
The Juniper EX4100 24-Port Gigabit Switch with 4 x 10G SFP+ Uplinks, part number EX4100-24T, is an access switch for offices and branches that need encrypted uplinks.
The 24 downlink ports are 10/100/1000BASE-T and the four SFP+ uplinks run at 1G or 10G with MACsec, which encrypts traffic on the link. In total there are 28 ports, and 10GbE is the maximum port speed. There is no PoE, and the power supply is 150W AC AFO. Virtual Chassis supports up to 10 members managed as one.
The switch works at Layer 3 and takes 1 RU. SFP+ optics and cables for the uplinks are bought separately.
