Overview

The EX4000-24P gives a wiring closet 24 copper 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, each able to supply PoE+ (802.3af/at) at up to 30 W, from a shared 370W budget. For uplinks it has 2 x 1/10G SFP+ ports, plus 2 more 1/10G SFP+ ports for Virtual Chassis, for 28 ports in total.

Up to 6 switches can be joined in one Virtual Chassis and managed as a single device. Switching capacity is 128 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 186 Mpps. Inside are 4 GB of memory and 8 GB of storage.

The chassis is 1 rack unit, weighs 4 kg and measures 4.34 x 44.1 x 25.8 cm. Power comes from one internal fixed AC supply with a 550 W rating, maximum draw is 415.44 W, and two built-in fans move air front-to-back.

New, Refurbished and Used units are available. New and Refurbished include 1 year or 3 years of warranty. Used includes 90 days.
