Overview

The Juniper EX2300-C 12-Port Gigabit Compact Fanless Switch with 2 x 10G SFP+ Uplinks, part number EX2300-C-12T, is a small switch for places where space and noise matter, such as a branch office desk or a shallow wall cabinet. The fanless design means it makes no fan noise.

The 12 downlink ports are 10/100/1000BASE-T and the two uplinks are 10G SFP+, for 14 ports in total. The maximum port speed is 10GbE. There is no PoE, so devices need their own power. The switch works at Layer 3, and Virtual Chassis lets up to 4 members be managed as one.

Optics or direct-attach cables for the uplinks are bought separately.
