Overview

The Juniper EX2300 48-Port Gigabit Switch with 4 x 10G SFP+ Uplinks, part number EX2300-48T, is a high-port-count access switch for closets that serve many wired desktops and devices.

The 48 downlink ports are 10/100/1000BASE-T, and four SFP+ uplinks run at 10G. In total there are 52 ports, and 10GbE is the maximum port speed. No PoE is provided. The switch operates at Layer 3, and Virtual Chassis lets up to 4 members behave as one managed switch, which cuts down on separate configurations to maintain.

Uplink optics and cables are bought separately, so plan them when you order.
