Dell PowerSwitch N1548 48-Port Gigabit Switch with 4 x 10G SFP+

Forty-eight gigabit copper ports in one rack unit is the main point of the Dell PowerSwitch N1548 (MPN N1548). The downlinks run at 10/100/1000BASE-T, and 4 x 10G SFP+ ports provide uplinks, for 52 ports in total.

Switching capacity is 176 Gbps. The routing level is Layer 3 Lite, and up to 4 switches can be stacked at 40Gbps full duplex, which is useful when a floor needs more than one unit but you want a single management view. A single integrated 100W AC supply powers the switch. There is no PoE on this model, so it suits desktops, printers and other devices that bring their own power.

The top port speed is 10GbE, reached through the SFP+ uplinks toward a distribution layer.
