Overview
Where the N1524 leaves powered devices to fend for themselves, the Dell PowerSwitch N1524P (MPN N1524P) supplies PoE+ on its 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports. The integrated 600W AC power supply is what makes that possible, so the power budget is the first thing to size against your phones, access points and cameras.
Uplinks are 4 x 10G SFP+, bringing the total to 28 ports. The unit is 1U tall, runs Layer 3 Lite and offers 128 Gbps of switching capacity. Stacking supports up to 4 switches at 40Gbps full duplex.
It fits small branch or closet deployments where one box should both power endpoints and connect upward at 10G.
Available new or refurbished, each with a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty. A used unit is also listed with a 90 day warranty. Tell us how many PoE devices you plan to run and we will note it on the request.
