Dell PERC H755 Adapter 8GB NV Cache RAID Controller (29XMF)

Dell 29XMF is the PERC H755 Adapter, part of the PERC 11 generation. It is a PCIe adapter with a PCIe Gen4 host interface and 8GB of non-volatile cache.

On the drive side it handles 12/6/3Gb/s SAS and SATA as well as NVMe Gen3 and Gen4 devices. It has 16 ports through two internal x8 connectors. Supported RAID levels are 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, which covers striping, mirroring, parity and nested arrays.

The 8GB cache helps with write-heavy workloads such as databases and virtual machine storage, and the mix of SAS, SATA and NVMe support lets one controller manage different tiers of drives.
