The Arista AOC-O-O-400G-5M gives OSFP ports a 5 m optical link at 400GbE. Both ends carry OSFP connectors, and the medium is multimode fiber.
There is no separate transceiver to buy because the optics are part of the cable. That keeps a bill of materials short when you are cabling a batch of identical top-of-rack links, and it means one part number per link to track. Treat the length as fixed when you plan.
Five meters is enough for a switch to reach servers a few positions away or in a neighboring rack. OSFP cages are needed at both ends. This part is offered in all three conditions: new and refurbished with 1 year or 3 years of warranty, and used with 90 days.
