Aruba part numbers are short alphanumeric codes, many starting with J, JL or R followed by digits and a letter. Some data center models are sold as bundles with fans and power supplies in a set airflow direction, such as front-to-back. The hardware number covers the switch; some software features depend on separate licenses or subscriptions.

When you buy Aruba switches, send the series and operating system (AOS-CX or AOS-S), the PoE budget you need, stacking requirements and the power supply part numbers. New, refurbished and used units are available, each with its own warranty in your quote.
