Overview

The power budget is the headline on the JL809A: 600W shared across 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports. Forty of them supply Class 4 PoE and eight supply 802.3bt Class 6 PoE, which covers higher-draw devices such as multi-radio access points.

For uplinks, the Instant On 1960 provides 2 x 10GBASE-T and 2 x 10GbE SFP+, giving 52 ports in all. Switching capacity is 176 Gbps with 131 Mpps of throughput. It runs at Layer 2+ with static routing, holds 16000 MAC table entries and supports 32 static routes.

Up to 4 switches can stack together, managed locally or from the cloud. The unit measures 402.75 x 442.5 x 43.95 mm, weighs 4.9 kg and can be mounted in a rack, on a table-top, on a wall or under a table.
