Overview

The R8S91A from HPE Aruba Networking divides its downlink ports by power: 12 ports with Class 8 PoE and 36 with Class 6 PoE. All are Smart Rate, running at 1, 2.5 or 5GbE. Splitting the classes lets you place high-power devices on the Class 8 ports and the rest on Class 6.

Uplinks are two 50G ports and two 10G ports, so the switch has 52 ports overall and a top port speed of 50GbE.
