Overview

Speed over capacity: the Lenovo 01KP042 is a 900GB drive that spins at 15,000 rpm and connects over 12Gb SAS. It is a 2.5in SFF hot-swap drive, and the tray is included.

Supported systems are the Lenovo ThinkSystem DS2200, DS4200 and DS6200 arrays, along with the Lenovo Storage D1212 and D1224 and the DS Series 12G expansion units. That covers both the controller shelves and the expansion shelves in a typical DS Series setup.

Use it for the fast tier of a DS array: database volumes, logs and virtual machines with heavy random I/O. Because the tray ships with the drive, it is ready to slot into an empty or failed bay.

Refurbished drives come with 1 year or 3 years of warranty. Used drives carry 90 days.
