Overview

High-density DE Series shelves hold 60 drives in 4U, and the Lenovo 01PG651 is a 12TB drive for those shelves. It is a 3.5in LFF nearline SAS drive running at 7,200 rpm over 12Gb SAS, with hot-swap support.

Compatible systems are the ThinkSystem DE4000H and DE6000H 4U60 controller enclosures and the DE600S expansion enclosure. The drive is specific to the 4U60 LFF enclosure type, so it is not the right part for a 2U12 shelf.

This drive does not include encryption. If your array uses drive security, ask about the full disk encryption version instead.
