Overview

Not every port is fiber. The 00FE333 is a copper transceiver: it plugs into an SFP port and exposes an RJ-45 jack for 1000Base-T Ethernet over twisted-pair cable. That lets a switch or node with SFP ports connect to ordinary copper cabling.

Listed compatible systems: SE350 Edge, SD630 V2, SD650 V2 and SD650-N V2. The connector is SFP+, so check the cage type on your host if it matters, and send us the model if you want us to confirm fit.

Copper SFP modules are useful for edge sites, management links and short runs where fiber would add cost without benefit.
