Lenovo 25Gb SR SFP28 Ethernet Transceiver

SFP28 is the connector that carries 25Gb Ethernet in the same footprint as SFP+, and the 4M27A67041 is a short-reach optic in that format. It runs at 25Gb and uses multimode fiber.

Listed compatible systems: SD630 V2, SD650 V2 and SD650-N V2. Those compute nodes use 25Gb links, and this module is the matching optic for them. Lenovo's feature code is BFH2.

When a network moves to a higher speed, the cabling often stays the same, but the optics change. That makes SFP28 modules a common line item in network refresh projects. Check that the switch end of your link also supports 25Gb, and tell us the model if you want a cross-check.

The 4M27A67041 is available new, refurbished and used. New and refurbished units carry a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty, and used units carry 90 days.
