Kioxia CM7-R 30.72TB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe Gen5 SFF Solid State Drive

Thirty-plus terabytes in a 2.5-inch envelope: that is the Kioxia CM7-R 30.72TB, MPN KCMY1RUG30T7. It is an NVMe SSD on PCIe Gen5 with Read Intensive endurance rated at 1 DWPD.

With that much capacity per drive, a single bay can hold an entire working dataset for read-oriented services such as search indexes, content delivery origins and analytics scans. Drive count and power per terabyte go down compared with smaller models, and fewer bays are tied up per terabyte stored.

The SFF form factor matches common 2.5-inch NVMe bays. Because the endurance class is Read Intensive, it is not the right choice for logs or constantly rewritten volumes. Conditions available are new and refurbished, each offered with 1 year or 3 years of warranty.
