Overview

The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6200M 48-Port 1G and 4-Port SFP+ Switch, part number R8Q69A, is a dense access switch for closets where devices do not draw power from the switch.

The 48 downlink ports are 10/100/1000BASE-T, and four SFP+ uplinks run at 1G or 10G. The total is 52 ports, and 10GbE is the maximum port speed. There is no PoE on this model, so look at a powered variant if you need to supply phones or access points.

It runs the AOS-CX feature set at Layer 3, fits in 1 RU, and can be stacked using VSF. Optics or direct-attach cables for the SFP+ uplinks are separate parts.
