The JL805A is a 1U Instant On 1960 switch with 16 ports in total. Twelve downlink ports accept 1G or 10GBASE-T copper over RJ-45, and four SFP+ ports provide 10GbE uplinks. The top port speed is 10GbE, and the switch is described as Layer 2+ smart-managed.

Switching capacity is 320 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 238 Mpps. Up to 4 units can be stacked, so a small site can grow from one switch to a stack without changing the management model.
