The HPE Aruba Networking 2540 24-Port 1GbE PoE+ and 4-Port SFP+ Switch, MPN JL356A, is a 28-port PoE+ switch in the Aruba 2540 line. The 24 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink ports support PoE+, and the 4 SFP+ uplinks run at 1G or 10G. The top port speed is 10GbE.

PoE+ means the switch can power IP phones, wireless access points and cameras over the data cable, which cuts down on separate power adapters and outlets in the closet. The SFP+ ports connect the switch upward, with the choice of 1G or 10G links.
