Overview
Parallel optics for 100G is the design of the HPE Aruba Networking JL309A. It is a QSFP28 SR4 transceiver with an MPO connector, reaching 100 m on OM3 multimode fiber.
Because it uses an MPO connector, it needs parallel multimode cabling and cannot be used with a duplex LC pair. The module has one port at 100GbE and is aimed at short links in a data hall.
