The HPE Aruba Networking 3810M 4-Port Stacking Module, MPN JL084A, is a stacking module for the Aruba 3810M line. It has 4 ports and supports stacks of up to 10 switches in a ring or chain, or up to 5 switches in a mesh.
Stacking lets several switches behave as one managed unit. The ring and chain layouts allow the larger stack of 10, while the mesh layout, which links switches more directly, supports 5. Each switch in the stack needs its own module, so count one per switch. It fits Aruba 3810M switches only.
