Overview

The HPE Aruba Networking 3810M/2930M 1-Port 40GbE QSFP+ Module, MPN JL078A, is an expansion module for the Aruba 3810M and 2930M lines. It adds 1 QSFP+ port with a top speed of 40GbE, and the port takes 40GbE transceivers and cables only.

A 40GbE port gives a single high-speed link, for example from an access or aggregation switch to the core. Because the port accepts 40GbE transceivers and cables only, plan the optics or DAC cable together with the module. It plugs into the module slot of the compatible switches and is not a standalone switch.
