Overview

The HPE Aruba Networking 2530 8-Port 1GbE PoE+ and 2-Port Dual-Personality Switch, MPN J9774A, is a compact 10-port switch in the Aruba 2530 line. It has 8 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports and 2 dual-personality uplinks, each of which can be used as an SFP port or a 10/100/1000BASE-T port. The maximum port speed is 1GbE.

The dual-personality uplinks give a choice of copper or fiber for the link back to the network, which helps in small sites where the uplink medium is not settled. With PoE+ on the 8 downlink ports, it can power a few phones, access points or cameras.

J9774-61001 is the spare part number. A replacement unit or an old record that shows it points to the same switch.
