Overview

The HPE Aruba Networking 2920 2-Port 10GbE SFP+ Module, MPN J9731A, is an expansion module for the Aruba 2920 line. It adds 2 SFP+ ports, which accept 1Gb and 10Gb transceivers. The top port speed is 10GbE.

The 2920 has two module positions, and a switch can take two of these modules. Fitting one gives the switch 10G-capable uplinks or lets you connect servers and other switches at 10G. It is a module, not a standalone switch, and it only fits Aruba 2920 switches.
