Overview
The Isilon NL400 is a 4U scale-out NAS node built for near-line capacity, and Dell EMC 861-0026 is a complete node. It runs Isilon OneFS and joins an existing cluster as another storage node.
The chassis has 36 x 3.5in bays for SATA 6Gb/s drives at 7200 RPM. Drive options are 1TB, 2TB, 3TB or 4TB HDD, with a self-encrypting option at 3TB, giving 36TB to 144TB of raw capacity per node. Memory ranges from 12GB to 48GB ECC, and the node carries 512MB of NVRAM.
