Instead of all-100G, this Nexus 9500 card mixes speeds. The Cisco N9K-X97160YC-EX has 48 ports for 1/10/25G SFP+ server connections and 4 x 100G QSFP ports for the way out, 52 ports in total.
That layout suits a modular chassis that serves 25G servers directly from the line card. The spare form, N9K-X97160YC-EX=, is also on file, and the card is meant for Nexus 9500 chassis only.
Cards with an uneven port mix like this one make sense when a chassis serves many 25G servers and sends traffic out over a few 100G links. The SFP+ cages also accept slower 10G and 1G modules, so mixed server estates are not a problem.
