Overview
The Cisco Catalyst 9600 C9600-LC-40YL4CD splits its 44 ports between access and uplink roles. Forty are SFP56 ports at 50, 25 or 10GE. The uplink side has two QSFP56 ports at 200, 100 or 40GE and two QSFP-DD ports at 400, 200 or 100GE, so the top speed is 400GbE.
That design lets a single card connect a large number of devices and still reach the core at high speed. It is listed for the Catalyst 9606R chassis.
