The Cisco Catalyst 9400 48-Port UPOE 10/100/1000 Line Card, part number C9400-LC-48U, brings 48 copper gigabit ports with UPOE to a Catalyst 9400 chassis.
Each RJ-45 port runs at 10/100/1000 and can deliver UPOE, listed at 60 W. That is a step up from standard PoE+ and suits endpoints that need more power, such as certain access points and displays. Maximum port speed is 1GbE. The power actually available depends on the chassis PoE budget and the power supplies installed, so size those together with the line cards.
