Overview
The Cisco Catalyst 9400 24-Port 10G SFP+ Line Card, part number C9400-LC-24XS, adds 24 SFP+ cages to a Catalyst 9400 chassis. It is for fiber or direct-attach connections at 10G, such as links to servers, aggregation switches or other closets.
All 24 ports are 10G SFP+, with 10GbE as the maximum port speed. SFP+ ports take pluggable modules, so you choose optics or cables to match each run. There is no PoE on this card.
It is a Layer 3 module that fits a slot in a modular 9400 chassis, and it is bought separately from the chassis and supervisor. Check that your chassis generation supports it.
