Finisar part numbers start with FTL or FTLX for optical modules and FCLF for copper SFPs. The letters and digits that follow encode the speed, wavelength and reach, and the last characters mark variants such as temperature range. OEM-branded versions of the same module carry the server or switch brand's own part number.
