Spinning at 10,000 RPM, the WD VelociRaptor WD2500HHTZ is a performance hard drive for workstations. This 250GB model fits a 3.5in LFF bay and connects over SATA at 6Gb/s, which suits workstations that still run spinning disks for a boot volume, scratch space or an older build that has to stay as it is.

It has a 64MB cache and a maximum transfer rate of 200 MB/s. The drive is rated for 600,000 load/unload cycles.
