Helium fills the Toshiba MG07ACA14TEY, a 14TB drive from the MG07ACA series. It spins at 7200 rpm, connects over SATA at 6Gb/s and fits a standard 3.5in LFF bay. Sector format is 512e, and the onboard cache is 256 MB.

Toshiba rates sustained transfer at 248 MiB/s. Power draw is 8.09 W in operation and 4.53 W at idle. The drive carries an MTTF rating of 2,500,000 hours and a workload rating of 550 TB per year, which makes it a fit for bulk storage, backup targets and capacity tiers that see daily reads and writes.
