Seagate Exos X22 22TB 7.2K SATA 6G LFF Hard Drive

The Seagate Exos X22 22TB 7.2K SATA 6G LFF Hard Drive (ST22000NM001E) belongs to the X22 family, an earlier generation than the newest Exos drives. It stores 22TB, spins at 7200 rpm and connects over SATA at 6 Gbps in a 3.5in LFF size.

Cache is 512 MB and the sector format is 512e. No encryption field is listed for this model, so it should not be treated as a self-encrypting drive.

A 22TB capacity lands between the sizes most often seen in this class, which is useful when one of the neighboring sizes leaves you with too little space or too much cost. Archive, backup and cold storage pools are the usual home.

If you are mixing it with other Exos X22 drives in a pool, the identical MPN keeps behavior consistent.

You can request it new, refurbished or used. New and refurbished drives come with 1 year or 3 years of warranty. Used drives come with 90 days.
