Overview

Oracle SPARC T5-2 is a 3U rack server with two Oracle SPARC T5 processor sockets. It has 32 memory slots and takes up to 1024 GB.

Storage is six 2.5in small-form-factor drive bays. There are 8 expansion slots for adapters. Power comes from 2 x 2060 W hot-swap AC supplies in an N+1 arrangement, so the server can continue running if one supply fails.

SPARC is Oracle's own processor line, so this server runs software built for SPARC. Typical buyers are sites that already run SPARC systems and need a spare or a replacement node.
