Four terabytes on a half-height, half-length card: the 7SD7A05768 is an Intel P4600 NVMe flash adapter with Mixed Use endurance and a PCIe 3.0 x4 link. It plugs into a slot and does not use a drive bay.

That suits servers whose bays are full or whose chassis has no NVMe backplane. A card puts a large, fast, write-capable volume next to the CPU for databases, caches or scratch data. It is not hot-swap, so installation and replacement mean powering down and opening the server.
